Bought some of these about 5 years ago on steep discount...when I opened the package I saw the hook doesn't even attach to the lure, rather a line runs through two holes in the lure and the hook is at the end of the line. Then I saw these things were plastic so I never used them.

Now I am looking at fishing for LT in BC and this seems to be the only lure they use...apparently it was a salmon Coho lure that made the jump into freshwater.

Anyone fished it...have further insights?
