T, up last week at smith bay outfitters, started to see a few may flies on the surface the hatch is near.

Thanks. Everything around here was a little late. Thinking I may be there just in the thick of things. How did you guys do fishing?

T, a party of four boated 225 eyes the largest being 25 inches many fish in the 16 to 21 inch range (nice fish). Caught a variety of small mouth, pike, white fish and lakers. Good luck on your trip. Smith Bay would be a good place to start fishing.

I just talked to someone on the lake at Ile du Fox and he said the black flies might be gone as it got real warm the last 3-4 days and they have seemed to die out. We shall see!

We leave Wednesday afternoon and it can't get here fast enough!
