Pick a date, and we'll rely on a local representative to give us the "official" date.

Prizes TBD, but one of my extra Leech Tamer bags is already on the table. Maybe we all agree that IF you run into the Ice Off Date Winner at your camp, or restaurant, or whatever when you're going in or coming out of the bush you have to purchase them breakfast / lunch / a beer / whatever.

It's just for giggles really...

Rhybak says May 16th

T-Bone goes with May 9th.

Rules: No picking a date that's already been picked....unless you can't resist.

I know another date...July 25th...or 114 days from now...

Hoping to see that ice off the lake by 9am on May 16th.

We'll be of for another opener. Myself, My father and his elderly neighbor will be wetting some lines in the Sunnyside area.

Cross your fingers that that water is open and ready for business!

Hey 'Crazy...you may need to run up through Hunter's Lake to find the 'eyes if the spring/spawn is delayed. It's not terribly far, but it's not exactly close either. And with the lake likely filled with bush fodder, it could be a bit dicey. Good luck...
