may I ask if there are any recent reviews here. Of the cabins, the camp area in general. And of course the owners. Years ago I inquired, then not do inviting. Thanks folks.

For what I hear, don't waist your money. Go to 2 Moons for a much better experience or 3 Seasons for a little more money, but a few more pluses.

Seriously, 2 Moons is very nice and in the exact same area. We stayed there the past few years and loved it and the price is about the same. Where have you stayed in the past?

Your taxing my memory. Back 62, can't say the location. With my brother & canoe we drove to kipawa, then an native towed our canoe & us (20min +-) droped us off in some bay - pointed out the portage & left us there .
Like maybe 75 with a brother-in-law we went to JJ's camp. I don't if they're still there.
Something like 95 buddie & i stayed at Corbins (sp ?). Since it changed hands & name.
Last time was like 2010 (+-) we went to taggerts for a week.
** planning to go to the Hamburg show next thur/ fri to look around.

Taggard Bay will be at the Hamburg show, but we prefer to get a little further way where it's a little quieter, that's why we prefer
Two Moons - http://wildernessadventurelodge.com/ been here 4 times.
3 Seasons - http://www.3seasonscamp.com/ been here 15+ times
Smith Bay - http://smithbayoutfitters.yolasite.com/ been here 4+ times.
Cedar Valley also gets good reviews - http://www.cedarvalleylodge.ca/

I'll be at the Hamburg show on Saturday. Check out Caesars lodge there, I really, really want to try this place http://www.caesars-northcamps.com/
Most people from this site also moved to: www.kipawafishingforum.net, check it out

Caesars ! 6 of us went there back 88. As i recall they flew us in to the wrong cabin we'd picked, area we didn't want there on Gouin. Easy to tell when looking down at the land scape, bays & such. We complained to no advill. We didn't stay at the main camp.
This was years ago, so can't hold much stock in that. Whole different game
Today i'd guess.
I had been looking at "Chalets" as the position on Kipawa. I' take a look here later at the 2 moons U mentioned. Thanks
